Apparat DJ set

Sascha Ring, aka Apparat, is one of the most exciting artists on the contemporary electronic scene, a sound conjurer who continually reformulates the parameters of dance music, combining electronic abstraction with pop sensibility.

Since his beginnings in 2001, his sound has evolved from a dancefloor-oriented techno sound to ambient music, with one stylistic constant: top-level melodic electronica. Apparat reinvents himself with each new release. He explores previously unknown styles and involves other musicians in the process —notably his collaborations with Ellen Allien or the creation of Moderat together with Modeselektor.

As capable of stirring up the dance floor as of crafting majestic sound atmospheres made of electronic and delicate, melancholy pop music, Sascha will be coming to Paraíso as a DJ, a role in which he has proved to be one of the most personal selectors, capable of teleporting us to a singular ground through introspective, haunting sessions where he weaves a kaleidoscopic personal universe that floats between techno, glitch and IDM.
