Robin Perkins draws sound landscapes that take root deep in the forests of Latin America. Originally British and currently living in Buenos Aires, his music illustrates the mythologies and melodies from his adopted continent. Perkins reinterprets Latin folk tradition by mixing digital, electronic and ambient sounds with the singing of birds, the sound of waterfalls and the quietness of forests.

In perfect balance between electronic, cumbia and Andean music, his live act draws on deep basses and wavering flutes to elicit a soft dance with slow rhythms. In Paraíso, El Búho will invite us on an extraordinary journey, equally jaunty and reflective, through the beauty and the sound core of Latin American folklore.
