Apparat has found his place in a generous range of enigmatic and immersive sounds: from dark rhythms to majestic orchestrated ballads. Whatever the register, Apparat always accomplishes his goal: giving us goosebumps.
After putting Moderat—the band he shared with Modeselektor—on pause, Sascha Ring has seized the opportunity to focus on his personal project, Apparat. Proof of this is his new album after a 6-year hiatus, LP5 (Mute Records,2019), which features trombones, trumpets, harps and double basses on a delicate array of beats. Another step forward in a path he’s been walking along for 20 years, a career that has left an influential trail that has guided many soloists and composers in the electronic scene.
This live show will be the second time he performs at Paraíso. In the first edition, he proved his skills as a selector and he will now use the occasion to present his latest album with band in Madrid and celebrate his career.
