The answer to the question of what came first, the chicken or the egg, we say Alejandro Guillén aka Baiuca came first. He is leading the way when it comes to revamping the folklore of his native Galicia and bringing it back from the margins of mainstream culture.

Which is why we can say with confidence that Baiuca planted the seed that has inspired a generation of artists to revisit the different musical traditions of our country. Such innovative insight and tireless energy have put him at the forefront of the Spanish scene, and he currently stands out as one of the most promising producers of our country. 

In mid-2021, Baiuca released his latest album, Embruxo (Raso Estudio), which demonstrates his evolution as a producer. In it, we see how has gone from fusing electronic music and Galician folklore, as we saw in his previous LP, Solpor (Raso Estudio, 2018), to uncovering new rhythms from the very roots, and what better place to discover this than at Paraíso 2022.
