Paraíso 2022 adds Danilo Plessow (aka Motor City Drum Ensemble) b2b Marcellus Pittman

Two venerable names and a unique b2b. We are talking about Danilo Plessow and Marcellus Pittman. They are the two new artists joining the line-up for this year’s edition. Both share an admiration and passion for the sound of Detroit, Marcellus’ hometown, which promises an epic b2b. 

Danilo Plessow, also known as the Motor City Drum Ensemble, is one of the most beloved selectors and DJs in the underground, while Marcellus Pittman is one of the figures responsible for defining part of the Detroit sound. Such a union can only be explosive. 

These artists will replace Detroit legend Moodymann. We regret to inform you that he will not be able to perform on 24 June at Paraíso 2022 after being injured in a severe car accident, which has forced him to cancel his tour. Fortunately, the artist is on the road to recovery, but needs time and space to do so, according to his team.
