Open call for ephemeral architecture
Would you like to shape Paraíso 2020 up? For second year in a row, a call to create one of the chilling out areas at the festival has been launched in collaboration with COAM, the Official College of Architects of Madrid.
Innovation and sustainability, avant-garde spirit and environmental responsibility, are the axes on which proposals should be articulated, both in the chosen materials and in the project development processes.
Projects can be sent between March 11 and April 26. The chosen one will be exhibited during the two days of the festival. You can register your project here.
How can I participate?
To register you only have to fill in this form and attach the dossier with your proposal. Architects, designers and other qualified technical professionals, of legal age, of any nationality and place of residence, may participate individually or as part of a collective. The participation of students is allowed as long as there is a responsible professional in the registered group.
The call proposes the participants to create a comfortable and versatile rest area where attendees can regain strength, eat, sit, lie down or enjoy the company of friends. The projects must include elements such as branckets, seats or benches that ensure the functionality of this area, using the materials provided by the MATCOAM exhibiting companies. In addition, Paraíso will endow the call with € 5,000, which will be used to develop the project.
