DJ Tennis

DJ Tennis is the alias of Manfredi Romano, heir to the Italian Renaissance spirit: Manfredi is a DJ, producer, founder and director of a record label, chef, former promoter, tour manager and computer programmer. He also owns one of the largest vinyl collections in Italy, with over eleven thousand records.

Since electronic music wasn’t always his only goal, DJ Tennis shows a surprising versatility in his sets. Romano constantly channels his past relationships with post-rock with intricate, synthesized electronic constellations. Between atmospheric dance and a reinvented italo-disco legacy, DJ Tennis endows his live shows with energetic rhythms that respond to heavy beats, so letting oneself go to the music shouldn’t be a problem for anyone who’s listening.
